Terms of Service

These terms explain how you may use DashShot — the dash-shot.com website, the macOS and Windows apps and the Chrome extension. By signing up or using the service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Who provides the service

DashShot is built and run by the DASH agency (Ukraine). Questions about these terms: kurusant@gmail.com.

Your account

• You must be at least 16 to use DashShot.
• Use a real email address: password recovery and confirmation emails go there.
• You are responsible for keeping your password and API token safe and for everything done from your account. If you think someone else has them, change your password and contact us.
• One account per person. Creating accounts automatically or in bulk is not allowed.

Plans and limits

• Free is free forever: unlimited screenshots, screen recording up to 5 minutes and up to 25 videos in your library, 10 AI actions a month.
• Pro removes the recording limits and includes 300 AI actions a month, email-gated access and view statistics.
• An AI action is a task from a voice note, a guide from a video or a script before recording. The limit resets on the 1st of every month at 00:00 Kyiv time.
• Current prices and limits are on the pricing page. If we change the terms of a paid plan, we give at least 30 days' notice; a period you have already paid for keeps the old terms.
• You can try Pro free for 7 days once per account.

Payment and refunds

Online payment for Pro is not available yet. We will publish the payment, renewal and refund terms before it launches. Until then, Pro is available as a trial, through the Free Pro program or by arrangement with us.

The Free Pro program

• The actions listed on the pricing page (inviting a friend, onboarding, a review, an article, a link, an interview, a bug report) earn days of Pro. They are added to your current Pro end date.
• You can earn up to 12 months of Pro per account this way. Each action except invitations counts once.
• An invitation counts once your friend has confirmed their email and taken 5 screenshots. Inviting yourself (through a second account or another email) is not allowed.
• We never require positive reviews or ratings: the reward does not depend on what you write. You disclose in your review or piece that you received a bonus from DashShot.
• If a review, article or link is removed, or the rules are broken (for example, faked invitations), we may cancel the credited days.
• Rewards are days of Pro only. They cannot be exchanged for money or moved to another account.

Your right to use DashShot

We give you access to DashShot for personal and work use under the terms of your plan. No rights to the DashShot software, design or brand are transferred to you. You may not:

• get around plan limits, security or technical restrictions;
• reverse-engineer, decompile or copy the apps and extension, except where the law expressly allows it;
• resell access to DashShot or present it as your own service;
• load the service with automated requests beyond normal use.

Your content

• The screenshots, recordings, tasks, guides and comments you create remain yours.
• You allow us to store and process them only to run the service: showing them at their link, making copies, and sending them to AI providers when you start an AI feature yourself.
• Anyone with the link can open an item unless you turn on email-gated access. Be careful who you share links with.
• You are responsible for having the right to upload and share this content, including other people's personal data in screenshots and recordings.

Prohibited content

You may not upload or share through DashShot anything illegal, malware, material that infringes copyright or other rights, harasses people, or contains other people's personal data without a lawful basis. We may remove such content and block the account.

AI features

Tasks, guides and scripts are written by AI and may contain mistakes. Check the result before relying on it. The output is not our advice or guarantee.

Availability

We work to keep DashShot running without interruption but cannot guarantee it: maintenance and outages can happen. We may change, add or remove features. Keep your own copies of important material — DashShot is not an archive.

Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or lost profits. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. This does not limit any rights the law does not allow us to limit.

Ending your use

• You can stop using DashShot at any time. To delete your account and all its data, email us from your account address: kurusant@gmail.com.
• We may block or delete an account that breaks these terms. Unless the breach is serious, we will warn you by email first.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. If you are a consumer in the EU or another country, you keep the rights your local law gives you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will tell you about significant changes by email or in your dashboard at least 14 days in advance. If you keep using DashShot after that, the new terms apply to you.
