What's inside

Library

Every screenshot and recording in one searchable grid

Each screenshot or video is a card with a preview, ready for action: copy the link, set an expiration date, or restrict access to a specific email.

  • Preview of every screenshot and video right in the grid
  • Link expiration — from "forever" to a few hours
  • Email gate: viewing requires a specific address or any email
  • Search by title — no manual scrolling through pages

Video placeholder — library

Scroll the screenshot grid, hover a card, show the actions (copy/gate/delete), open the search. ~15 sec.

Tasks

Tasks grouped by project — not lost in a chat

Every task is a living card with context, expected result, and success criteria — not a line in Telegram you have to scroll back to find.

  • Grouped by project and client, names you choose yourself
  • A comment thread under each task — not a single reply that gets overwritten
  • Checkable subtasks with live progress
  • An unread indicator so nothing gets missed

Video placeholder — tasks

Expand a task, show the comment thread, check off a subtask, switch project groups. ~20 sec.

Documentation

A recording turns into a step-by-step guide automatically

AI analyzes a screen recording and builds step-by-step documentation with frames and a description of each step — no manual writing after every recording.

  • Created in one click from any screen recording
  • Every step is a frame with an explanation, editable text
  • A public link, just like screenshots and tasks

Video placeholder — documentation

Click "Create documentation" on a recording, show the generated steps with frames. ~15 sec.

Settings & branding

Everything that isn't content, in one dedicated place

Email, password, an API token for your own integrations — separate from the library and tasks, so you're not hunting through app downloads for "where do I change my password."

  • Change your email and password in a few clicks
  • An API token for ShareX and your own scripts
  • On the Enterprise plan: a custom logo, accent color, and your own domain instead of DashShot's own branding

Video placeholder — settings

Open the "Settings" tab, show changing the email, switch to "Branding," upload a logo. ~15 sec.

FAQ

Dashboard — questions and answers

Do I need to install anything to use the dashboard?+
No. The dashboard is a web page that works in any browser right after you sign up. The Mac/Windows app or Chrome extension are optional, for faster capture.
Can I control who can view a specific link?+
Yes — every screenshot, recording, or task can have an email gate: viewing requires a specific address or any email, plus you can set an expiration date for the link.
What does the person I sent a link to see?+
Just the content itself, and for tasks, a status/comments/subtasks form. No DashShot account is needed on their end.
Can I remove DashShot branding from view pages?+
On the Enterprise plan — yes, you can add your own logo, accent color, and your own domain instead of DashShot's branding.
